Tonight at Fisher the annual Hunger Banquet is held. The Hunger Banquet is an event held that collects canned goods and other donations for people in Rochester who are struggling to put food on their tables at home. The Banquet allows students to see what it would be like to live in poverty or to considered wealthy. Each person who comes to the Hunger Banquet receives a ticket telling them what social economic level they would be considered. From there each level receives a different amount of food based on their ticket. The Hunger Banquet is a great event to attend because it allows you to see how fortunate you truly are, and you can help your community at the same time.
