Annual Science Scholar Symposium Begins

Last night was the first day of the science scholar symposium. Dr. Naughton, the head of the Boston College Physics Department and an alum of SJFC, came and gave a talk on nano technology. It was an interesting talk about what research he participates in. One of his grants is to build a more efficient solar panel which is biocompartable. These panels at the nano scale could be implanted in someone's eye who has a damaged retina. I'm a little nervous because the symposium continues this afternoon with junior poster presentations, that's me. I will let you know how it goes.
