This weekend is our annual Day of Celebration on campus. The event highlights a specific culture ever year, but is designed to celebrate every culture. The focal culture this year is India and to market the event an extremely large Elephant cardboard poster was purchased. I love animals so it was really neat to see such a unique marketing strategy. The elephant was not colored like a typical elephant. Instead the elephant was decorated with all sorts of Indian designs, making it really creative! I’m looking forward to attending the Day of Celebration this week because I know there are going to be so many new cultures that I get to learn about and most importantly for me, a lot of really great food!
