Spring Break Withdrawl

Hey Everyone,
It was tough getting back into the routine on Monday after a long spring break in Europe. I can not tell you how much fun we had in London, Paris and Dublin. My roommate from last semester has been studying abroad in London so we thought what would be a better spring break than to go see him?! Derek has been having a wonderful time in London experiencing a new culture. He enjoys his classes and has been going on some awesome weekend trips to places like Rome, Paris, Amsterdam, Munich and Warsaw.

London was so much fun seeing all of the history including Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge. We also got to see the musical Wicked. It was so cool because we also saw the spot where Saint John Fisher was executed!

The sites in Paris were amazing, especially the Eiffel Tower, the Arc De Triomphe and the Louvre Museum. We saw the actual Mona Lisa and ate some authentic crepes.

Dublin was a nice and compact city so we were able to walk everywhere. We took a tour of the Guinness Brewery which was HUGE, St. Patrick's Cathedral and Trinity College.

All in all it was a great vacation and it has definitely inspired me to try and study abroad before I finish here at Fisher.

Tony
