Teddi Dance for Love!

Snow is in abundance on the St. John Fisher campus again! I love the way the campus looks when its snow covered, it’s so pretty! There are even a few attempts at snowmen building around campus!

This upcoming weekend is a very exciting weekend here at Fisher; it’s the annual Teddi Dance for Love! The dance is a 24 hour dance-a-thon to raise money and awareness for Camp Good Days and Special Times. The camp is a getaway place for children who have cancer, or have experienced tragedy in their lifetime; it’s such a great organization! The entire Fisher campus has rallied to help make this year’s dance more of a success than last year’s dance, which raised over $53,000!!! Since the beginning of the fall semester the Teddi Committee has been working very hard, they placed change jugs around campus and have even sent jugs around at the halftimes of football and basketball games.

I plan to dance the full 24 hours – let’s just hope I can make it! The committee makes the dancing fun by arranging specific theme hours. During the theme hours you can dance and dress like the themes. Some of them this year include Grease, Michael Jackson, and the 70s. I am so excited to show off my moon walking skills! I have been practicing all week!

LET’S MAKE THIS ONE THE BEST ONE YET! WHOAA TEDDI!!!
